What was your role at BitLyft?

I am the Junior UX/UI designer at BitLyft Cybersecurity. I conduct user research and competitor research, create dashboard designs for the security tool, BitLyft Air, and create prototypes of the designs in Figma. I work alongside the product team to help develop the product and the marketing team to create infographics.

Information about the Integration Dashboard Below . . .

I created this dashboard for various integrations that are available to BitLyft customers. The dashboard design features O365 and the alerts that can accompany the customers. This design template can be transferred to GSuite, OneLogin, AWS CloudTrail, etc. The overview dashboard allows for customers to get a quick glimpse at their security environment and the tabs offer glimpses into the remediation actions, actions activity, and enabled alerts for the integrations.

This dashboard was the first part of the MVP Dashboard for the customers and SOC team. This dashboard was one of the first dashboards that I created for BitLyft and the customers. Below are different iterations of the design and then the final design with light and dark mode.

  • To create the dashboards, I first conducted user research and user interviews with the customers to gain their perspective on the product. I then received backend information and numbers from the SOC team to add into the dashboard view. I was then able to create the dashboards and charts in Figma. I created multiple design iterations to present to the stakeholders, SOC team, and product team. After discussions, we decided on the best design option and the developers implemented the design into the BitLyft Air Dashboards.

  • These dashboards are important for the users at BitLyft because it is a quick look into the security environment of a specific company and integrations for the customers. The information from the graphs also gives the SOC team easier access to information to help protect the security of a company.
